On Saturday 4 July and Sunday 5 July we had services for the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost and in honour of the Hieromartyr Eusebius of Samosata (+380).  Following the Prayer before the Amvon, the parish rector blessed a number of items recently acquired of episcopal services: a set of dikiri and trikiri and five “eagle-rugs” («орлецы»).  After the service a pannikhida was served for Victor Majetny, one of our original parishioners, it being the fifth anniversary of his repose.  May God grant him rest!
